WSP LAUNCH GREAT SUCCESS

EPG Pumps recently launched the Weir Self-Primer (WSP) into the Australian market through a series of events held around the country. These events were a huge success, with a great deal of excitement surrounding the self-priming pump which is Setting New Standards.
The launch events were held in each of the five states, with the purpose to demonstrate the superior standard of the WSP, and also to offer attendees the opportunity to have hands on interaction with a 3” model of the pump before it becomes available in the Australian Market.

The presenters at each of the events were Kim Arnold, President of Weir Clear Liquids, and Stuart Reed, CEO of EPG Pumps.  The presentation itself was a comprehensive overview of WSP and an in depth demonstration of the flexibility and superiority of the Self Priming Pump that can be replaced in to existing systems.

EPG Pumps Launches the Weir Self-Primer into the Australian market
EPG Pumps, having recently been appointed the exclusive Australian distributor of the Weir Self-Primer (WSP), is delighted to announce the launch of the WSP into the Australian market.
A rugged, dependable self-priming end suction centrifugal pump, the WSP is suitable for a range of solids handling jobs where a self-priming application is required and is available in a 3'', 4'', 6'', 8''or 10'' suction/discharge.  Launched in America in 2005, the performance of the WSP matches and in some cases exceeds other self-priming pumps in the Australian market. Applications for the WSP include sewage, industrial waste, wineries, mining, food processing and paper manufacturing.
The WSP sets new standards within the Australian Self-Priming pump industry, introducing a range of innovative features and benefits over other self-priming pumps in the market. These features include:

  • Easy Maintenance - Shimless/tool-less clearance adjustment
  • Superior Materials - Hi chrome and ductile iron components
  • Enhanced Safety Features - Failsafe fill port assembly
  • Complete Interchangability - With Gresco, Pioneer and Gorman-Rupp pumps and spares

The above features result in a self-priming pump with lower operating costs, higher actual efficiency and a longer life, compared with other self-priming pumps in the market place. In addition to being competitively priced, EPG Pumps is also proud to introduce an industry leading 66 month warranty on all WSP pumps.
The WSP is manufactured by Weir, an international engineering company dedicated to creating engineering solutions that improve the quality, safety and value of their customers' activities. Listed on the UK stock exchange, Weir employs 8000 people worldwide.
